Let’s be clear
Coaching is not about helping those that cannot help themselves, or about me teaching you to live your best life.
Coaching is about enabling change and specifically, enabling any human being, regardless of where they are at, to realise their greatest potential and live a life that has meaning to them.
As a coach, I believe you hold the answers within you, I am just very good at helping you bring them to the surface.
Below explains what you will experience during your time working with me.
The essence of coaching
-
What is coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires a person to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.
-
Who is coaching for?
Coaching can benefit people of all ages and at all stages of their personal or professional lives. If you are ready to invest the time, and engage in self-exploration and critical thinking to level up, a coach is a perfect partner to help you advance.
Generally, my coaching clients have become really good at moulding themselves into what they think everyone else wants them to be. They are going along in life ok, but they feel like something is missing, they often feel flat, stuck or stagnant and they normally have a super strong inner critic stopping them from reaching their full potential, success, or happiness. They have a huge amount of potential and often some amazing ideas and dreams; they just need to clear the clutter and get out of the way of themselves to see it.

Proven methods, backed by science
Evidence from the field of neuroscience confirms that the philosophy and tools of coaching are in line with what is known about effective brain development.
Using neuroscience foundations, behaviour change theory, transformational coaching and positive psychology I am positioned to engage the client’s brain in ways that create openness, creativity, and the optimal environment for neuroplasticity, leading to lasting, transformative change.
Client words…

“What is a Coach I had asked myself about 12 months ago. Maybe this is something I can look more into as I had found myself very much stuck. In what? I didn’t know. Unhappy? Not really, but something just felt out of order within myself. After connecting with Sarah at a Wellness event, we met up for a chat. No it wasn’t a light bulb moment and no ‘quick fix it’ answers flew out of Sarah’s mouth but what did happen was lots of silent moments, lot’s of self reflection and deep questioning. I have been pulled out of my comfort zone time and time again, challenged and I leave each session with a new confidence and clarity. So here I am months down the track, I’ve booked in for another 12 sessions because I can see how much this process is benefiting me. I don’t have all the answers to life but what I do have is the tools to look at myself differently. Although for me its been a slow process, I’m now aware that change comes from within. It takes time and patience but I know there is a better equipped and more self aware ‘Me’ ready and excited for anything life throws my way.”
